With the recent releases of Final Stage, Arcade Stage 8, and the upcoming movie, Initial D can spike its popularity with an addition of a home console game by letting fans take home and play a game based on what they love. The reason fans fell in love with Initial D was because of its story line, not just the cars, tracks, and gameplay. Fans expected the quality of Extreme Stage to be on par or even better than Initial D Special Stage, but instead was greeted with a mediocre port of Arcade Stage 4 Kai. Why should Sega make this game? Initial D Extreme Stage fell short of praise back in 2008 because there was a lack of story mode and additional contents. I'm tired of waiting on Sega and want to let them know that now is the right time to make this game.
The reason behind this petition Fans have been eagerly waiting for Sega to announce a home console version of Initial D Arcade Stage since the release of Arcade Stage 5 in 2009.
